The UAE government has approved a large federal healthcare budget, Dh192 billion ($52.27 billion), for 2024–2026, demonstrating its commitment to the sector.

It is anticipated that the healthcare industry in the United Arab Emirates will expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.5% by 2024.

UAE’s healthcare market is estimated to be worth US$228.80 million in 2027, growing at a 6.87% annual rate from 2023 to 2027.

Saudi Arabia is home to more than 70% of the Middle East’s ongoing healthcare building projects, which are estimated to be worth over $18 billion.

Saudi Arabia has the highest investment in healthcare in the GCC region with $59% of the $100 billion spent on healthcare in the GCC.

Saudi Arabia intends to upgrade its healthcare infrastructure with an expenditure of $65 billion.

By 2030, Saudi Arabia intends to privatize over 2,300 basic health institutions and 290 hospitals.

In Oman, eleven new hospitals are being constructed, with Al Suwaiq Hospital set to open in 2024.

The need for healthcare services and facilities is expected to drive significant expansion in Qatar’s healthcare sector, which is estimated expected to reach $12 billion by 2024.
